Welcome to Speak & Sing. Speak & Sing is an educational project based in Australia that aims to help children of the Greek diaspora connect with and learn the Greek language through music, play, repetition and family participation.

This Legal & Safety page explains the conditions that apply when you visit or use the Speak & Sing website, communicate with us or express interest in our future programmes.

By accessing this website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these policies. If you are using this website on behalf of a child, school, community organisation or other entity, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.

Information you provide

At this stage, the website primarily uses email links rather than online forms. If you contact us by email, you may voluntarily provide information such as:

• Your child’s age or general Greek-language level.
• Your school or organisation name.
• Information contained in your enquiry or message.

Please provide only the information reasonably necessary for us to respond to your enquiry.

The current website is directed to adults making enquiries on behalf of children. Children should not contact Speak & Sing independently or provide personal information through email.

Future child accounts

Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether Speak & Sing content is appropriate for their child and for supervising the child’s use of the website and future educational services.

Parents and guardians are also responsible for:

Children learn at different speeds and in different ways. We do not guarantee that a child will achieve a particular vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency level, school result or learning outcome.

Parents, guardians and educators should use their own judgement when selecting and supervising activities.

Unless otherwise stated, the Speak & Sing brand, logo, website design and original materials are owned by Speak & Sing, its operator or the relevant licensed rights holder.

Protected materials may include:

• Names, logos, slogans and brand elements.
• Songs, musical recordings, melodies and arrangements.
• Lyrics, stories, scripts and dialogue.
• Lessons, teaching methods and curriculum structures.
• Characters, illustrations, artwork and animations.
• Videos, games, quizzes and interactive activities.
• Worksheets, books, downloads and written content.
• Website code, page design and visual presentation.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, broadcast, sell, license or commercially use these materials without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Schools and families who later purchase licences will receive only the rights specifically described in their licence or subscription terms.

Some illustrations, design elements, drafts, audio, animation or other creative materials displayed or developed for Speak & Sing may be produced or assisted using artificial-intelligence tools.

AI-assisted materials may be selected, edited, arranged, reviewed or combined with original human-created work before publication.

Illustrations are intended to depict fictional or representative characters unless expressly stated otherwise. They should not be interpreted as photographs of actual children, families, teachers or schools.

When you send us an email, we may use your email address and message to respond to your enquiry, provide requested information or communicate about an early-access or school programme in which you have expressed interest.

Sending a general enquiry does not automatically authorise unrelated marketing messages.

If future marketing emails are introduced, we intend to use appropriate consent processes, identify the sender and provide a practical way to unsubscribe.

You may ask us at any time not to send further promotional communications.
